The purpose of the International Home Start Closet, is to support our International students and scholars who are not living in dorms and who are newly arrived in Morgantown. The IHSC partners with Morgantown community members, to provide household items for these students.

The International Home Start Closet does not provide large items such as desks, chairs, mattresses, beds, and the like. If you are interested in these items, they can be found at our local stores and charities. Please find the list below:

During the Fall and Spring Semesters the International Home Start Closet will fill requests and have them available at Purinton House for pickup every other Wednesday, from 9AM – 4PM. Otherwise, the IHSC will be available through appointment only.
